MBA for Executives

Executive MBA program

Classes are scheduled on an alternating Friday/Saturday schedule, with some longer sessions over the course of the 22 month-long program, including three summer residency weeks: 2 weeks in year one and 1 week in year two.

MBA/JD

Dual program

Combined degree program offered in collaboration with the Yale Law School.

Admission Requirements
  • Students must be admitted to the Yale School of Management and Yale Law School independently. Students applying to the four-year MBA-JD program may apply for the both programs simultaneously, apply to Yale Law School during the first year at Yale SOM, or apply to Yale SOM during the first two years at Yale Law School.
  • Students applying to the three-year MBA-JD program may apply to both programs simultaneously or apply to Yale SOM during their first year at Yale Law School. Students already enrolled at Yale SOM may not apply for the three-year MBA-JD.


MBA/Master of Forestry

Dual program

 New Haven

Joint degree program offered in concert with the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Joint-degree students spend one of the first two years at Yale SOM, during which they take the integrated MBA curriculum, and the other at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies (FES). In the third year, they take electives at both schools.

  • Joint-degree applicants must apply to and be admitted to both programs independently. Applicants may apply to both programs simultaneously, apply to Yale FES during their first year at Yale SOM, or apply to Yale SOM during their first year at Yale FES.


MBA/Master of Environmental Management

Dual program

 New Haven

Joint degree program offered in concert with the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Admission Requirements
  • Joint-degree applicants must apply to and be admitted to both programs independently. Applicants to the three-year joint-degree program may apply to both programs simultaneously, apply to the School of Public Health during their first year at Yale SOM, or apply to Yale SOM during their first year at the School of Public Health. Applicants to the two-year intensive joint-degree program must apply to both programs simultaneously.

Dual degree program with the Yale School of Medicine. Most joint-degree students spend the first three years at the Yale School of Medicine; the fourth year at Yale SOM, during which they take the integrated MBA curriculum; and the fifth year taking electives at both schools.

Admission Requirements
  • Students must be admitted to the Yale School of Management and and the Yale School of Medicine independently. Applicants may apply to Yale SOM during their their third year at the School of Medicine, or apply to the School of Medicine during their first year at Yale SOM.

Dual program

Joint degree program with the Yale School of Architecture. Joint-degree students spend the first two years at the Yale School of Architecture; the third year at Yale SOM, during which they take the integrated MBA curriculum; and the fourth year taking electives at both schools.


MBA/Master of Fine Arts

Dual degree program with the Yale School of Drama. Joint-degree students spend the first two years at the Yale School of Drama; the third year at Yale SOM, during which they take the integrated MBA curriculum, and the fourth year taking electives at both schools.

Dual degree offered in partnership with the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. Students spend the first year at the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs; the second year at Yale SOM during which they take the integrated MBA curriculum; and the third year, they take electives at SOM and elsewhere at Yale.
